* Lying to New Yorkers about the quality of the air we breathed after September 11th – asbestos levels were higher than the EPA’s own danger threshold while the White House told us it was safe to return downtown
* Underfunding Homeland Security expenditures for New York, ranking the state 49th out of 50 for federal anti-terrorism funding per capita
* Crippling our children’s educations. The Bush administration has cut federal funding to NYC schools to the tune of $1.2 billion dollars (that’s billion)
* Of the three million job loses on the Bush Administrations watch, 8% have occurred right here in NYC
